SafeShot weapons are specialty theatrical props designed for safe use where close-quarter or point-blank discharge is called for by the scripting. Using our patented technologies, they employ in-house machined one-piece stainless steel barrels with an integral, solid bore obstruction that emits no muzzle discharge whatsoever – a vitally important safety issue, where no threaded or welded plug can fail and dislodge to become a deadly projectile. They cannot chamber any live or conventional blank cartridge of like caliber and fire only the special SafeShot Blank. Nonetheless, they cycle and function the weapon with all other elements of realism, while generating comfortable sound levels of 112 to 115 decibels.
